Good evening,
I would like to preface this post with my recognition and appreciation for all the assistance that has been provide to me through this forum. My gratitude goes out in particular to Bob and Gary for all the time and energy you have both put into your responses to my queries. Your selfless consideration and time spent responding to my posts has not gone unappreciated. For your stalwart efforts I am eternally grateful!

The attached photos are, to the best of my discernment, a CONECA DDO-008 / CopperCoins 1972-IDO-008. I recognize there were multiple errors with this particular series, the 008 most closely fits the bill by my eye. I took the best photos I could muster, hopefully they present an accurate representation of the coin I'm looking at. Again, I'm a newbie to the hobby and learning as I go. Good fortune has landed me in very capable hands!

P.S., I did see a little doubling under the "L" in LIBERTY, but was unable to get adequate lighting for a good representative photo.

Thanks for the kind words. We appreciate that a lot. For the good news, I do believe you hit the jackpot with this real nice DDO. It appears that your attribution is correct also. Can you imaging if this doubling was on coins from any other year? It would be a monster DDO. Congrats!

I concur, it looks like a winner.
The Ts in TRUST look good. A lot wider than normal Ts
The LIB on true DDOs of 72 will be lifted a little at an angle..


I would use this as a good example of what true 1972 DDOs look like.

The 1972 year was plagued with issues, even about 1 Billion coins affected by a master hub doubling issue.
