Sweet...I was pretty stoked. It's still cool to me. It's been a while since I found one that was something. After Lincoln Penny "The Professional" where the "E" is missing on the reverse fiasco. Or better yet disaster..I cannot find that one nor the super shiney 69 that I showed too.. I have turned my house upside down looking for those two coins...anywhere rambling...Thanks Bob and as always it is greatly appreciated...thank you

I agree with Bob. What I recommend taking away from this is that machine doubling along with all the other worthless doubling is that:
Machine doubling will be step or shelf like. If one level is lower that the other, suspect machine doubling or worthless doubling.
Doubled dies are exactly that. The die received more than one impression, and it was slightly off. The mu.tiple impressions were sunk into the die at nearly the same height, and that is the way they should appear - - the majority of the time.
The Doubled dies prior to 1996 are easier to attribute. The cookie cutter lines which showed where the overlapping impressions on the die was awesome.Gary Kozera
