  • A side note to James Wiles’ 1969S 1c tilted extra floor rev.

There is an addition of a chair image side, (Lincoln’s left, your right) on the first two pictures.

Just 5 random mixed 1969S cents I had together showed no chair image.
Those are the last 5 pictured.

Actually, I just went through my 16 nicest 1969S cents and zero of them had a (Lincoln’s left, your right) chair image.

The first two images seem to show an extra column, as defined by some attributors.

There was another thread on a different forum where there was a recent addition to DoubledDies for a 1969s DDR, doubled column. I think it was around Lincoln's statue as well.

    Very nice images.

ps. For clarification, the first two images are the same coin, correct?

      Yes it’s the same coin.

Between the two photos, I just looked at the top of the other side chair, and bottom, and the new addition seems to reflect the top and bottom placing exactly across

On our left, shows what looks like a doubled column. (Red)

yellow and blue shows chair specifications.

I didn’t even notice the doubled column when I was shooting these last night. I guess I caught one though on my unused digital roll.

I've always believed the line you have marked in red as the edge of the chair armrest Lincoln is sitting in.

What I see as a doubled column is on the left of column #7. That type of DDR is what was newly attributed.
Here is the link to the new listing @ DD.com. http://doubleddie.com/814723.html

(ps. the new listing is 1969D WDDR-002, not "S".)

Yup. Weird angle on the picture made me relook at the coin. It’s just a chair.

I like the 1969D 1c tilt above Lincoln I saw there also. Didn’t know that existed.
