Let’s see what I have
I get a lot of my information about coins from watching TikTok, in general there are two people on their that are coin people, Eric Miller and Luna Lawns, the other day Eric Miller made a video of coins from 1956 to 1964 saying that if they have a space between the E and S in states an the leaf must be touching the A in dollar on the back of the coin they are worth more than face value, I have two, 1962 and 1964, Also my 1962 coin is off tilt when you flip it over it’s not lined up, It is off a little bit.Tags: None

You might be talking about the "Type B" reverse.
Its a business planchet... not shiny like a proof, though proof dies may have been used.
Much like the Close and Wide on Lincoln cents....Gary Kozera

Yes the die design used on a proof is different in these years of the Washington Quarters. in 1956-1964 some non-polished proof dies were used to strike some circulation quarters.type a v b.jpgCONECA Attributer: John Miller

I’m in the process of trying to find a 1971 Eisenhower dollar, is that the only year that error is valuable? Because I have a 1974 that has the same thing.Last edited by Keith Chambers; 11-03-2023, 07:42 AM.
