    1916 Cent Error

Is this a lamination error or a broken die. I found it in a partial book of Lincoln Cent. Thank for the help.

The way that the layer is peeling up, I would say it is a lamination error.

I agree. Definitely a lamination peel.

        Would it be worth slabbing.

My opinion is "no". Lamination peels are rather common (some even view it is damage) and the cost would not enhance the value. Another draw back is the grade of the coin; if it were in the MS range it may have been worth the extra cost.
