Nice. Congrats.
If that was an older roll from back in the 50's, they could have had between 9 and 15 cent presses running at the same time. The average i found on a roll from back then were between 4 and 8 per roll. It depends on the luck of the draw. All those thousands of cents heading toward bagging and they all fall in what ever bag.
If it was a newer roll, the person who had it before probably did not care for the BIE's or simply did not notice them. The BIE's are a tad more collectible since the major mint errors are not escaping at the frequency they once were, from 2000 and before.
