1980 D Penny on Dime Planchet?

So, I have this 1980 D Penny that is the same size as a dime. It weighs 2.8 grams. As you can see, the letters are cut off on the obverse and the reverse side of the coin. My question is, do you think this penny is on a dime planchet? Thank you.

In my opinion, its not on a dime planchet. the color is near copper more than clad. Clad dimes weigh closer to 2.2g. I cannot tell from the photos if this coin suffers from environmental damage.

It looks like you take photos of a screen with some type of camera. It causes pixelation issues when trying to zoom in. I have a post listed in my signature block which gives a step by step procedure on how to take decent phots with a cellphone.

What does the obverse of this coin look like ?

I am in the middle of a big project and it may take days to a week for me to reply. I do not have notifications turned on, so it might be luck of the draw whether I get back to this. Others might respond.
