1949 D wheat penny error?
I found this coin in some bank rolls I had bought. Someone turned in 10 rolls of wheats. Does anyone think this is a mint error? Very common damage; some say from parking meters of the era. Never seen any of these "slashed" characters with circulars marks so probably not from a coin wrapping operation.Ken Potter
