CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

There is too much wear on the coin to come to any conclusion on your claims.

Take a look at some of the "so called" Buffalo doubled die listings and tell me how they can determine some of those when there is no visual doubling whatsoever. Then get back with me.

Most are too worn also. How did they make a determination on those?

I am not terribly thrilled with your tone in your response. You're coming on to a free forum asking for assistance with attributions. Bob made the call, he has many years experience doing this. It is not his job to prove he is right.

Coins listed as doubled dies are evaluated in hand, it could be that they are minor and the photos are not as clear as they could be.

With the shots listed the coin has a lamination issue with striations visible, my suspicion is that maybe you're mistaking that as doubling. Otherwise, I do not see anything either.

Jason already said what I was about to say Off Center. You have multiple posts where your comments are not well received. Remember that you posted your questions here. If you are not able to deal with the replies, you are free to go elsewhere. My reply to this post was that there was too much wear to make a determination. No need for your reply. I have over 50 years in the hobby. Doesn't mean I am always right, but much more often than not, I am.
