CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1949S ROOSEVELT DIME STRUCK-THRU?

    I am looking at a 1949S Roosevelt..."The King of the Roosevelts" but this one has a curious reverse. Is this Struck-Thru grease or some kind of post mint damage? Thoughts or comments?

      Hello Bob, I think you are still having problems...I can not upload the picture. I get an error code (Unknown error). Am I doing something wrong? Never had this problem with my previous posts. Not only this post but several others I have tried to post.

            I think you are correct in that this is most likely a struck through grease error.
