I am looking at a fantastically toned 1981S Kennedy Half. I went to look at the mint mark (it is a type 1) but my eye stopped on the '8' in the date. It would appear to have a struck thru with a piece of string or a filament of some kind. The struck thru jumps to the rim too. The anomaly is indented in the surface of the coin and not raised. In that same area are 5 other anomalies that do appear to be raised and look like die cracks (third pic). There would appear to be another struck thru in the field to the right of Kennedy's head which looks like it goes down and loops back and crosses itself which is indented in the surface of the coin (pic 4, location Pic 5). Thoughts or comments? PS I am sending the coin in to get High Definition Pictures and will update when I get them...the reverse looks like it might be a DDO!
