1954 ROOSEVELT DIME PROOF STRUCK THRUS?

I am looking at a 1954 Roosevelt Dime which is a proof. The subject coin has a series of "pockmarks" on the cheek and into the hair on the obverse and the lower part of the torch on the reverse. They appear to me to be some sort of Struck Thru (grease?) but they are very small and there are a good deal of them. I have never seen anything like this on a proof coin (so many and so small). Thoughts or comments?

Can't say I have seen that before either. I'm afraid I don't know what could have caused it.

Where did you get the coin? Is the coin still in the set? Show pictures of the entire coin, Obv and Rev.
