CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Evening. Sorry but that appears to be damage from another coin or MD. The coin to me looks flat or shelf like, which is normally machine damage. Can you post a clear hole coin photo of the REV.? Thanks, Eric

      The top serif looks like an RPM. The part on the east is damage

        Can you please get a closer photo of the mintmark then maybe turn the coin so both serifs - top and bottom show in the photo? That would be the only real way to tell if this IS an RPM or machine damage. Thanks Eric

          This does look like a minor RPM to me. Wexler has several similar listed.
