CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    1982 zinc ddr?

    Good evening everyone. I am relatively new at this so please forgive my lack of knowledge. I have had this for a while wondering if it could be a ddr. I know my photos leave a lot to be desired but any opinions would be appreciated.

    I can't see any indication of hub doubling when I zoom in on these photos. I do see what I believe is MD, but the clarity just isn't what it needs to be to make a definitive call on it.

      Same here, I cannot see anything definitive to say it's a DDR. If the doubling appears to be two levels, it's probably machine doubling. I have examples in a post within my signature...
