1974 D Lincoln Reverse Internal Die Break
I believe this is a Freestanding Internal Die Break. It measures 4mm x 2mm at the widest point or roughly 6 sq. mm. The reverse also shows some MD on America and the right side of the memorial. The obverse might have some minor clash and ear damage.

I do not know what to say about this.
it looks almost unnatural.
If it is this big, and a die break, I believe I would see more spider-style stress cracks and drama around the area than just a rounded triangle sort of design.
Maybe it's late, but I am not feeling the love for this coin.
It may have been an oversized diechip or possible "beehive" between columns, nthat broke away and relocated at one point, but it is odd.

Thanks for the replies guys. I will put it in the "rather unique" pile.
On a parting note I forgot to post one image of the reverse. I don't know if it has anything to do with this anomaly but the devices above the left side of the memorial are impaired. You do not have permission to view this gallery.
