1961 ROOSEVELT PROOF DIME STRUCK THROUGH FIBERS?
I am looking at another dime form the box. This one looked like a promising Cameo I had marked as PR68CAM. I turned it over to see the reverse and again thought it was something in the flip. This time it looks like the coin was struck through a bunch of fibers. There is a flat spot on the rim near the anomaly. Thoughts or comments?Tags: None

Hummm wonder if it was a failed or an accident at refrosting the die ?
It may be a brush that tainted the die, or during die setup, and test strikes, some one's hair got in the way.Last edited by MintErrors; 07-26-2022, 01:02 AM.Gary Kozera
