2008 P Presidential dollars

Coneca member here. I have a 2008 P Andrew Jackson that has three indented round circles in the rim. Can anyone please explain what this would be. Please see attached pictures. Thank-you

I assume they are contact marks (PMD) of some sort. It would be virtually impossible to tell where it came from though.

Hello 01010111- cool binary name... The 2007 & 2008 Presidential Dollars I have show those marks on the edges as part of the inscription, I googled it https://presidentialdollarguide.com/ and found the edges are different for 2007 & 2008- "The edge inscriptions include the date, mint mark, and motto “E Pluribus Unum.” For Presidential Dollars released during 2007 and 2008, the motto “In God We Trust” also appears on the edge."

So they must have removed In God We Trust and put stars instead.
