This forum has protocols that frown on prices and grading questions, so you will probably receive no direct answers. Grading on coins from people that are not ANA certified graders are more subjective than the typical 3 graders they use at most third party grading services, in my opinion.
i can suggest going to your favorite grading company and looking up how they grade each coin. Then, you have to take into account the postage to and from and grading fees. Return postage to you from TPG services is usually pretty steep, probably closer to 20 to 25 bucks, more if the required insurance value and amount of additional coins is increased. It is up to you, but make sure the total cost is much lower than the total value of the coin, which can fluctuate.

Minor technicality.... rpm's and ddo's are known as varieties. Yes, they will add it as an RPM if it is one.
The problem lies within a slabbed coin that is graded. They have to break out of the holder to add the rpm info. They may just charge a reholder fee vice grading it once again. Anacs is probably the cheapest route, but everyone has their favorites.Gary Kozera

It would depend on the TPG that graded the coin. Check their policy for which varieties they acknowledge. I believe most have a reholder charge. Therefore submitting the coin for reholder while adding the "variety attribution" (again make sure they acknowledge the variety) should be able to get the coin the in the TPG holder with variety noted. There will be a charge for the variety attribution.

This is the coin I’m speaking of. It’s PCGS graded at a at a pr68rd DCAM but you can clearly see the repunched date and doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST. So it would take the coin from being a a fairly inexpensive coin to worth something yo could write home about. Crazy is I gave next to nothing for it already slabbed. You do not have permission to view this gallery.

Too much light and glare to see.
Look here to compare. Pay close attention where the mint mark was placed on the die.
I don't know if the moderators will say anything about adding an additional coin per thread. We will see.usually it is one coin per post, that is all i am tryin to say.

I do not believe you ticked anyone off. My message was just that... a kindly reminder that the CONECA staff may say something about more than one coin in a post.
The way the staff like to see the forum is one coin per post. It elimates confusion and cross talk. If you need further guidance, Bob who frequents this forum, probably can explain better. The forum administator Jamez, frequents the forum as well.
i just like to let people know what is right and wrong in respect to within the forum, and it is up to the official CONECA staff members to act upon it if they consider it necessary. All good, just watching out for people's best interests is all.Gary Kozera

I agree with Gary and his explanation of the issue at hand. First, there are specific guidelines for posting here, and they are listed in the links everyone gets when they become a member. The protocols are there for a reason. Occasionally, we have to remind someone of the rules, but it is not the end of the world.
In this particular post the original question concerned a 1964D half dollar. Your second coin was a 1972S cent. Having the ability to search for posts, having multiple different coins in one post, does not allow all applicable coins to be identified by the search engine. In other words, why would anyone looking for the 1972S cent coin, open up a post based on the 1964D half dollar? Once again, nothing earth shattering, but we need to have guidelines that make the forum as easy to use as possible. I promise I won't take away your birthday...OK?? :-)Bob Piazza
