1964 D DDR

I bought a bunch of 64 mint sets looking through them and found this gem. I’m pretty certain if I may say so myself this is the FS-801 and what great shape

I cannot really from the photo to tell you the truth. Here is the variety vista listing. Look at the ERICA in AMERICA, see if it matches. There might be a die chip on the eagle's head as well, near the jaw bone south east of the eye of the eagle.

In addition, James Wiles lists which varieties are found in mint sets, and.... there are none supposedly for 1964. Have a look.

Please show us the doubling. As Gary states, you should be able to see significant doubling on ERICA (among other areas on the coin). You should ALWAYS match the doubling first. Any marker is used to verify a variety if you have it. FS801 is a very strong variety. There should be no doubt if you found it.
