CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    could just be a plating issue; hard to tell from the image.

        you may desire to take it to a show/shop and ask someone that knows what they are doing about it. i'm still leaning towards a plating issue. it is just too rounded in appearance to be a crack imo, from the images provided.

          Looks like plating bubble to me also. Bisecting means just that. It goes from one rim to the other.

                On the last photo see how the prospective crack looks like a wave in the ocean. Its smooth on one side, and rough the other like an ocean wave. My hypothesis being that the crack is also machine swizzeld.

                    Im going to try to write a formula so that I can locate the moon. Purely and wholy by waves observation.(i.E., wave hgt, length,break time and distance reveal moons coordinates.

                      If it is a die crack I think it would be a "Pre-cud" at Cuds-on-coins.
                      A bisecting die crack would need to bisect the coin into two fairly even sections.
