Looking for clarifiction on die doubling

    Hello,

Can anyone comment on the photos I have attached herein on whether or not the two different coins qualify as die doubling? I tried to post elsewhere to confirm what mechanical doubling is or what I thought it may be, but was asked to create a new post. Sorry if I stepped on toes, but I'm just trying to learn protocol as I am new to this forum.

Thank you for your assistance in advance.
    Ernie

    Ernie,
Strike doubling or mechanical doubling is always flat and shelf like. In other words you have a flat area before a slight raised area.
1968-1973 rolls are jam packed with MD coins. Even though you photo is out of focus, I can tell this IS MD.
    Sorry, Eric
