CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

2005-S Proof cent with unregistered DDO/DDR

This 2005-S proof cent looks to have doubling on date/mintmark and motto. I have 5-6 of these where you can see die wear. Last 05 of date has strange crumbing

it is difficult for me to discern doubling from images of proof coins most of the time cuz of the way the reflections are on the coin. i'm leaning towards not a ddo although a couple spots kinda looks like split serifs.

i don't see any listed for the year/mm on V V but i didn't check the coneca files or doubled die.

will wait to see what others have to say.

Some of the images are clear enough to see some notching on the letters but this may be one that is too minor to list.
Although, in hand, it may show up well enough for other collectors to find it.

Yes there’s no listing on wexlers or coppercoins. Sorry about the pictures I was only allowed 8 and 2 was front/back full coin. I have many others that show where it splits from the notched serif’s. Would this be a candidate for CONECA attributing?

Could I have this coin sent in for CONECA attributing? Is that possible?
