1982 penny split planchet DDO not struck right?

In my opinion, this is more than likely post mint damage. It was done after it left the mint.
That puffy style look is usually associated with a coin being in a dryer for a pretty decent amount of time.
we dont have a photo of the reverse, so its difficult to know exactly what went on.

One thing for sure, its not a DDO.

I got one more white I'm at it I know it's special some kind of variety DD I think on both sides. Some of the letters are connected and there is little die chip on the wing by the U. It has couple die break on letting. But the best part is the rim looks like a machine wheel. Never have I seen a rim like it I found in roll while back I knew there was something about it. It a 1971 quarter is there anywhere I can have graded or send it to be checked without paying much

(I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary in these images. Not likely to be a "variety DD" on both sides but there's no way to tell from these images. Also, please include a more specific description when describing areas you have questions about.)

Thanks it's weird for sure but it's not puffy at all it's flat it like the top planchet is hanging over the bottom little is right on bottom of the penny. Here is the back.

Your obverse images do look like a "dryer" coin as Gary mentions. But the new reverse image shows the reverse devices to be nice and clear so it's probably not.
With the mushy obverse devices but clear reverse, I'm wondering if your Lincoln cent might be struck through a very late-stage die cap.

Is the "top" of the penny "hanging over the bottom" around the whole coin or only on part of it?

Yeah just a little bit connected at bottom looks like top shifted or was bigger than bottom. Here is better pictures. You can see doubling in liberty an smashed down parts. An doubling in the In God We. Sorry about other thread pictures I will start new one thanks
