CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Hello

    Hello All,
My name is Windy. About 5 years ago I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. As a result it was suggested I begin and/or start a hobby that helps with Cognative Thinking. Shortly after I discovered a hoard of Lincoln Cents in the wall of my closet that was nearly enough to fill a 10 gallon aquarium. I was hooked!!! The coins were put there by my youngest daughter Grace, who had by her own admission, placed them there over time. Through an empty electrical outlet hole.

    Welcome to the forum Wendy
Wow - she didn't dump them in a coin star... plus she sounds like she didn't want to just give them away, There is alot of information out there on the web. many sites for RPM's and double dies. Plus there are sites that talk about errors. I would look at the links, here in the forum; that detail how to take a photo with a phone. May help you to photograph a coin for all of us to see.
    Happy huntin....
    Eric
