CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hello all. I recently joined. I have actually been collecting since 1976 and then it was the quarter only. It was a few years later in 7th grade I had found my first pre 1960 nickel in change from the lunch room. Occasionally I get wheatcent here and there from convenient stores.i got my first mint error while working at McDonald's when I found an off center struck penny. Over the years I slowly would collect a coin here and there.then in 2023 I got back into the hobby. Since then I have started my own youtube channel, completed my Ike album and working on the Kennedy albums to be completed thru 2025. I do roll hunting and like looking for errors and Varieties
