Do I have to?
Hello all, I am not being sarcastic with my title I am shy, even online!..

Hi Eric, Thank you for your kindness in welcoming me, and sharing the slowness of the forums lately....lol... I noticed that the posts are fairly old. Not a big deal for me as I am not big on posting much, though I do use the forums/posts for research. I am likely going to find a different hobby not much to be found anymore, unless you outright buy it, that takes the searching fun out of it for me, that's the main reason I enjoyed it..
Thanks again kindly ☺️,
Barb

Hi my name is Dylan I'm partially new to collecting, but have already gained a lot of knowledge. I am confused on how do I look at variety images or even error coin images I'm very confused on why this won't let me do anything. But anyways thank you for letting me register and join the page

Morning Dylan,
"""""Please start a new post for your question."""""" Don't overwrite another persons posts - Thank You
We have been working on the Coneca Master list - adding arrows to photo's showing where the Double Die or RPM are.
I would explain in more detail and give you a few photo's to reference, if you start your own post.
Thanks again
Eric

I suggest looking for overdates and doubled dies from countries other than US or Canada. Places like Europe for example are semi loaded with finds. You can dig through bargain bins at a show or buy coins by the pound. I haveca friend that picks out overdates from Europe at least weekly if not daily. It depends on budget and taste. References like the world coin price guide online and Numista.com are good references.
As for roll searching for US coins in my opinion, buying the cheaper uncirculared cent rolls from 1959D, 1960D, 1961D and 1963 may offer some varieties if bought from a source other than a coin dealer. You search the roll, pluck out the varieties and either refill the roll or sell individually, recouping all the money back and maybe a little more. For USA, Rpm's have not been made since 1989 and the doubled dies are different since the single squeeze era starting in 1996 or so.
