My journey into coin collecting began in 2013 when I inherited coins from my father in law's collection. After a few years of simply trying to understand what I had and gaining enough knowledge to handle them with the same care he had, I discovered the intrigue of collecting is more than just finding shiny coins but rather into a journey of discovery with each coin having a story to tell and a history to celebrate.
That brings me to why I joined CONECA. I want to learn the quirks in the lives of the coins I handle when roll searching and examining pocket change. Right now I am going through Lincoln Cents and have discovered a few that I believe are listed in Variety Vista and will be asking members of the forum and staff a CONECA to assist with my education and understanding as I move forward. Thanks to all of you who share in this mission and are willing to help others like me.
