Hello, new member as of 3/23/2026
I am a paying member of CONECA and appreciate the help you all give to the coin collecting community. I have gone through 2 collecting stints. I started my first in 2000 until about 2014. I had quite a collection, earning 16 NGC top ranked sets. My decision to sell my coins and stop my coin obsession was a mistake as I found that deep down, I really missed the excitement of waiting to see that perfect coin I just purchased arrive in the mail, or waiting to see if the coins I sent to PCGS or NGC upgraded to higher level of a raw coin got a grade high then I thought it would. I try not to look back at some of the great coins I had. My new collection started last year and you can see how I've done on both NGC and PCGS Registries. It is great to feel that excitement again although the prices of coins have certainly increased. My collecting preference is for coins that have a look as close to original as possible. If they can't be a bright silver/white I prefer coins that have a deep grey with silver/white devices as in the example I am attaching. I look forward to many years chasing that perfect coin...
