CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

New Paying member here from Albuquerque, NM.

Thanks for allowing me to join. I've been collecting coins ( US mostly, some world) for just about 25 years now and I love it today more than 25 years ago. I recently found out I quite enjoy searching for errors and Vams, cherry picking mostly. I am glad I stumbled across this organization and even more to be a member of it. I have so many different varieties to ask you all questions about and I am more than confident that I'll get my answers I couldn't find elsewhere, but don't worry I will limit my posts and I'll try my best to only ask about coins that haven't already been asked about. I look forward to learning from everyone here.
