    New Here to this Group

Greetings everyone. I am B L C Scott and I am a new coin collector and a non-member to the group as yet. I am seeking info on a beautiful 1968 D Kennedy Half Dollar that I removed from a new Mint Set. I noticed what appears to tiny winged angels imprinted on the coin as well as when I rotated the coin there appears to be a blob that looks like another eye. It was pretty scary. Could this be an error coin? Are there any errors such as this?

Can you post pics? Do you really believe they are tiny winged angels? Obviously, the mint didn't stamp it on there, so the chances are that you are seeing things that remind you of something else. This is called pareidolia.

Thank You. I will research a little more but will be forwarding the coin to ANACS for research and attribution. Hope I'm not going Coo-Coo. Unfortunately, I do not have a microscope/camera/computer set-up, but I do have a 30x hand-held magnifier with a light. But thanks for responding.
