I am not a member of CONECA but genuinely appreciate the contributions this community has made to the research of die varieties. I am a passionate dealer and collector who has been in the business for many years now. To date 2 of my most prized possessions are my 20x Bausch & Lomb Hastings Triplet magnifier and CPG set. Both opened up a new world I didn't know existed, and many of the listed variety finds can be credited right here to the fine folks at CONECA. CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
