CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

    Introduction

Hello. My name is kermit and I am here as a non paying member. I appreciate the chance to be here as a "guest".
The reason I wanted to join is because of my new discovery that I have been fortunate to find.
A 1973-D LMC rolled-in or strike-in retained debris with wide fissure.
An article has been written by mike diamond from coin world and has been published by him. As well mint error coins is publishing it.
Wanting to get the news out in case anyone may have something like it.

I saw a copy of the article. I can assure you that your coin has a unique error on it. Mike Diamond did a good job explaining it, but I doubt very much there are many (if any) out there like that. Congrats on a great error coin Kermit.

      Thank you very much Mr.Piazza.
Yes Mike Diamond done a wonderful job and cannot express my gratitude enough,I never expected such an extensive write up.
Leaving the article open in a sense (cents lol) with 3 possibilities I'm in strong hopes at some point a conclusive analogy can be gathered or at least more dialogue on the topic.
      I appreciate your input sir.
