CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hello, my name is Savana, I have been a coin purchaser and hoarder of US coins for many years. However, I recently discovered the world of error coins. My new interest is quite exciting, like treasure hunting. However, there is a lot to learn in this speciality. I was referred to Coneca by a member of the ANA and recently became a member. I hope to gain greater knowledge in this field. I look forward to reading and discovering the world or error coins through Errorscope, forums, and members support.

Ok here's my first go at errors. Do I have a die crack on this 2007 Statehood Wyoming UNC quarter on the obverse at the neck?
I have found a progression of this 'crack' on a few quarters. C9A8C08A-75DD-4BAC-B65B-295B1B0BBD94_1_105_c.jpeg

        Welcome to the club.

Nice die crack. These are fairly common on these quarters.

I have found the use of the term Die Chip and CUD seem to be used interchangeably, is there a difference?
Is this a die chip-cud? 2006 P statehood quarter - Colorado. (am I posting this in the correct area?)
