CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I am a new member of coneca as of friday. Got a cool 1961 RPM today so i was I decided to check out some of my 1961 pennies. I believe this is WDDR-007. I matched it up on wexlers comparing one cent and united states. The marker was the dot to the left of the bottom of the u in united. Can anybody tell me if I'm correct

OK...A couple of things here. Since this coin does not have a mint mark, it can not be an RPM (Repunched Mint mark). If you are talking about doubled dies, then the next factor is that WDDR-007 for the 1961 cent is a proof coin. Yours looks like a business strike.

Tell us exactly what you are seeing and we will see if we can help you out and determine if this is a variety or not.
