I'm new to this forum, not so new to the world of die varieties. To be consistent in my numismatic forum presence, I'm using the same name as I do on VAMWorld, where I am the administrator of the wiki and discussion board. My specialty is Morgan and Peace dollar varieties, and I will be taking over assigning new die varieties to Morgan dollars in the VAM catalog from Leroy Van Allen over the next few weeks. I run Variety Slabbing Service, which mostly attributes VAMs, but will also do any other US coins for which I have or can access a good reference.

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
