CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hey everyone! 34/m/AL here, new to the site... I've been "collecting coins" pretty much my whole life, but only within the last year would l consider myself an actual Numismatist.

Still learning the ropes and some ins and outs, but I catch on quickly. I believe I may have found some new varieties, As well as formulated a theory or two about some interesting finds. sadly, I'm not too sure how to go about the whole process of determination..

I look forward to the information and friendships to be gained from my membership! I will be on a free account for a while, because I am currently not in the financial position to be a paid member. On the bright side, my membership here should increase my knowledge enough to alow me to properly evaluate my collections for examples I can potentially make enough profit to become a life long member off of.

I have plenty of coins and plenty of questions! Thanks for the opportunity and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
