I started collecting coins in the mid 80's. It was always fascinating to me each piece of history I was holding in my hands. What story did each coin have to tell? I moved to California in 1988 and joined a local coin club. This is where I discovered my first error. A 1909 VDB 1-O-V in XF+ and thus started collecting errors. In 1995 I won one of the CONECA error groups from Erroramma event in the 95' ANA convention in Anaheim.
In 2000 I joined the USAF. Although most of my time was devoted to duty, I still pursued my numismatic hobby in the back ground. I got out in 2007 after suffering an injury and focused on university studies, Later getting married and starting my own family.
I have been heavily involved in numismatics recently and felt in was time to get back full-swing as my life has finally settled.
I collect both US & Canadian coinage and currency in general. I collect mostly RPM's, RPD's, doubled dies, and various striking errors, with a specialization in half dollars and Ike's.
Well it's nice to meet you all. Happy hunting.
