Hello and good day. My name is Michelle. I've had an interest in coin collecting since I was a child. I'd go to coin shows with my dad and watch him organize his collection. It was always fun just being with him. Well, Dad is gone now and I'm left with the memories and his collection. As I've been going through trying to understand his labeling and interesting sorting methods, I've realized my need for knowledge in the error and variety category increasing. So I've joined CONECA as a non-paying member as of now. I hope to learn to my way around, pick up on the lingo and ask questions.

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
