CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

I'm excited about joining the site and expanding my knowledge. I've been collecting a little over a year. Pennies seem to be my "go to". Although I look at everything now..all coins and bills. I even have a few family members that know absolutely no change leaves the house..it comes to me...LOL

Thanks for the info! I currently have a 1972 that I believe is a DDO. I'm pretty confident anyway..
I'm just not sure how to get a someone to look at it

If you can post a good photo, with relatively close detail, we can help. 1972 was a very good year for doubled dies, but also has Master Die Doubling that encompasses over half of all coins struck that year. We will definitely try to get it identified for you.
