Greetings! Thank you for accepting me as a member. I've been collecting coins for a few decades now, really just buying American Eagles from the Mint and some graded coins here and there. Also, I've been throwing my spare change in a jar along the way and now that I'm retired, I've developed an interest in errors. I am surprised at all the varieties! Anyway, I've come across a few that are intriguing and hope to share some here and get others' opinions and viewpoints. I became a member because I believe it takes money to run a website like this, a small price to pay for perhaps valuable information. Happy hunting!

CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.
