CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Lifetime collector

    Hello everyone I am Frank Marshall, I live in Long Beach, WA and I’ve been collecting 36 years since age 6. I’m just as of recent getting into the error/variety side of collecting and I thought collecting couldn’t get any more exciting! I am not a member of CONECA or any other coin club etc. My first coin was a 1928 Buffalo Nickel and I still have it. Today I found my new favorite coin of my collection. It’s either tilted collar or partial collar not sure which.
