CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

My name is William. I go by Will by most people minus my family. I started collecting coins just last year. I saw a bunch of posts about penny errors and I had to jump on the hunt. Now I keep all wheat pennies, all copper pennies, all red pennies minus the shields and once in awhile I will buy a box of quarters to rummage through to see if I can find anything interesting. It has been fun for me since I am disabled from the military. It keeps my mind on one thing and keeps my hands busy. I am NOT a paying CONECA member. I have probably gone through about 150,000 Pennie’s and possibly around 10,000 quarters. Anyways. Nice to meet you guys and I hope the coins I have found are of interest to you!

Coinnovice Here. And how is everyone?

I'll introduce myself with this 1996 P Roosevelt Dime that I calls "Frankenstein Dime" because of the well places cud on the neck.

I'd like to have this attributed, and recognized as "Frankenstein Dime"?

Coinnovice, this is not your post, it belongs to billyparls2007, and you should not arbitrarily put your stuff on his post. I already answered your other post concerning this coin. You should take some time and read the protocol instructions on this forum. You have made a few mistakes already, and in order to help you the best we can, you must follow the rules. In a nutshell:

          Only one coin per post
          Start your own post
Make sure it's in the correct portion of the forum. (Varieties, errors, etc.)
Only list your coin one time
