CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

CONECA was formed through a merger of CONE and NECA in early 1983. To learn more about the fascinating HISTORY OF THE ERROR HOBBY and THE HISTORY OF CONECA, we encourage you to visit us our main site Here

Hey everyone, name's Joe, I've been an amateur collector of US coins for about two years now. I'm not really a collector though in today's terms, more of an enthusiast I guess you could say. I enjoy finding coins out of the norm and simply holding onto them. Joined CONECA to see what others are finding and to learn about how their coins are errors, along with finding out a good idea of how some of the ones I have collected are unique in their own way.

Thank you for accepting me into your community and I'm looking forward to being a part of it.

      Welcome aboard.
There are plenty to find out there, even more if you look for foreign repunched dates or overdates.
