CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hello I'm Jon

    Hi my name is John R. I'm obviously new here and my main purpose for using CONECA is for getting coins attributed. I'm pretty good at cherry picking picked over 10 pound bags of Lincoln cents and usually get 2 or 3 double dies but these 2 i have now i want to see for sure which variety it is and obviously continue to learn how to spot error and varieties as that's my main interest in numesmatics...

    I'm a retired Army Sergeant enjoying the 2nd half of my existance...
