Help I'm seeing doubled but it could be from to much coffee.
Screenshot_20221015-215841~2.png Screenshot_20221015-195034~5.png Hello to everyone, I'm 44 years old from Urbana Illinois Screenshot_20221015-215951~5.png Screenshot_20221016-205137~5.png and I have been collecting errors since I was 9 years old. My grandpa taught me a lot but I'm no expert, in fact I have only cuds, machine doubling, die deterioration etc. I was wondering if someone else sees hub doubling on this 2019-D Lincoln Cent. LIBERTY looks great especially the "E" and this is my first post so I'm not familiar how it works here but thanksLast edited by Pennyman44; 10-30-2022, 01:11 AM.Tags: None

This does look interesting. Hub doubling was effectively eliminated on coins in 1996 and forward. They use a single squeeze technique now, using a lot more pressure to transfer the image from the master hub to a blank working die.
So for 1996 and forward, there are some doubled dies, but the process is something that is related to the single squeeze event, than multiple punchings. The photos are just a tad too fuzzy for me to zoom in with is tablet and have a good look at each letter.
The D in GOD looks like it suffers from a plating issue, that dark discoloration is from the die breaking through the copper plating and exposed the zinc core. The zinc core leaked out, staining the area near the D. I don't see anything bluish color around the letters to tell me this is all a plating issue. So...
Let's call in mustbebob and have him take a look at this.
This does not match up with anything I can find on varietyvista.com

I kind of see what you are referring to, but the photos need to be better focused to make a call. I am concerned about your description where you say only certain letters are affected. That is not the way hub doubling would appear. Any time you have only one letter in the middle of a word affected, there is another reason. It could be isolated damage or plating issues.Bob Piazza

is there a way a few of the key areas can have photos taken again ? You may have better luck using a box about 8x8x8 on a table and getting a photo. Have a look:
