CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Hi Everyone,
    I'm basically new at this only 3 years collecting. I'm mostly infatuated by all pennies but I fell in love with the hunt of what I call the sport. Recently started purchasing from the bank searching coin rolls and now I want to up my game and learn from the pros. So here I am.

    There are some great people here to guide you along the way.

    One comment that I like to add is, in due time, I personally like to help people help themselves. Any research you can do to lighten the load is appreciated. That comes in time.
