Congrats on finding the site and your first coin way back then.
As a kid, our curiosity is through the roof and seeing that FE design caught your attention and imagination.

Hey Vince, you are a very new member as am I. I haven't posted my intro yet, I thought I would read a few others first. This is Paul H. It is great to see you here. I too probably started collecting back when I was 8 to 10 in scouts. Though mine wasn't as serious as yours I presume, putting some pennies in a blue book, is a start though. Back then they were mostly wheat-backs. I need to save the good stuff for my intro. I look forward to seeing some of your varieties and errors.

Hi Vince! I also started collecting coins at age 8, when you could still find silver coins in circulation! In my early twenties, I shifted to error coins and couldn't be happier. Keep up the hunting and please posts some errors and varieties from your collection.

Mr V Rose
Hello! My name is Vince and I enjoy collecting errors and varieties. I especially enjoy finding them in the wild and in roll hunts from bank boxes. I look forward to learning so much here. I started collecting coins at around 8-9 years old when I found an 1857 Flying Eagle Cent while scuffing the dirt in a backyard kickball game. I have been hooked since and forty eight years later, I am now very excited to find rare variety and error coins. Some of my best finds have been graded and include three Wounded Eagle Sacagawea Dollars and a1953 Denver Franklin half with Full Bell Lines. Thank you for making this resource available and so easy to access.
