New to the coin world.
Hi my name is Lee (tttaaazzz). I am really new and fresh with collecting coins. My grandparents did alot of collecting with there kids growing up and I have quite a bit of coins that nave never been touch. So I am trying to learn the steps and have a microscope that my youngest daughter like to play with me while I look for errors just for fun. I am wanting to learn the steps of grading and what to do first if I think it may be an error. So just taking it day by day.Tags: None

Welcome aboard. One of the best things to know in coin collecting is how to grade.
ANA offers coin grading resources.

As you look at the coins ensure you are looking for varieties as well. Re-punched mint marks and doubled die obverses and or reverses exist, along with the negative side, worthless doubling.
