CONECA (pronounced: CŌ´NECA) is a national numismatic organization devoted to the education of error and variety coin collectors. CONECA focuses on many error and variety specialties, including doubled dies, Repunched mintmarks, multiple errors, clips, double strikes, off-metals and off-centers—just to name a few. In addition to its website, CONECA publishes an educational journal, The Errorscope, which is printed and mailed to members bimonthly. CONECA offers a lending library, examination, listing and attribution services; it holds annual meetings at major conventions (referred to as Errorama) around the country.

    Need help for year old member

    Hi group Jeff Richitt here in citrus county florida.Having trouble so I'll just say it I'm tech stupid. Fred Flintstone in George Jetson world. I have 2 coins would love to have looked at but having trouble with proper pics and posting. YOU WANT to see these , a 1999 penny with last 9 over top part of 8 and a quarter from the future. Yes from future a Tuskegee quarter dated 2 0 2 1 1. Yes it has a five digit date easily seen by eye. The first 1 is on its own and about 75% there. Any help or advice greatly appreciated

    Sorry to hear about the difficulties posting images. They really are needed.

    The extra "1" sounds like it is might be a type of non-valuable doubling called "plating disturbance doubling".
