  • 1955D RPM?

This came out of a real unsearched roll of 55D's. The die crack in the head and its a little hard to see but there's spider webbing above it also & it looks like a RPM & a die chip in the 9.

I don't understand the reply. Am I not allowed to post an original photo without a photo to compare to from a reference site?

        Hello Shleppodella1,
No, What occnumis2021 is asking is if you can take a closer photo?
FYI. Photo's taken at this distance that are taken at 600 px or standard shutter on most camera's / phones look great from far away but when zoomed close up on the date/mintmark become overpixellated or blurry. The key is take the photo in the camera's "fine" position. My Nikon's fine position is 1500 px in Fine - 2500 px in ultra fine. These setting give you more clerity when the photo is cropped and zoomed in.
        Hope this helps.
        Eric

Ok I understand now. This photo was taken with my microscope which I thought took better pictures at magnification so that zooming was not needed am I wrong?

What we need is a closer photo. Notice OCC tried to zoom your photo above and it became somewhat grainy/overpixellated. Anything as far away as your photo above will need to be brought in closer. This is a photo from my webpage. This close would give anyone an idea of what the variety might be:

although i just now notice this is in mint error category. the wrong category. where's a mod to move threads around when you need em.

                Shleppodella1,
When I crop your photo down to the same size as my photo above. This is what we get:
This is why you might want to educate yourself on camera settings. Just a suggestion.....
By the photo below I do NOT see an RPM.

the image as .jpg is a mere 156kb (save bandwidth one crop at a time i guess WHILE enjoying high-quality)

Every photo I take fine setting on the camera. Every photo I crop at 1200px wide X 900px tall. saves a ton of size and easy to upload.

                        Hello Shleppodella1,
Is this where the RPM is supposed to be??? If so, that is a bit of debris on the coin. Always when I look at BU from roll coins I use one of my dad's old henkerchiefs to rub/wipe the coin free of debris/grease. Just dont rub hard.
